Rocket Ship

I have a rocket ship
It's empty and it's green
It's taking me back home now
When I close my eyes
I see the whole world burn
Starting with my own house

And oh, what a pleasant sight
'Cause there's nothing for me in there
And I left my guitar inside
But strangely, I can't seem to care

I had a garden
Where I grew the fuel
For my interstellar drive
But then a fungus spread
And killed off all the plants
Just months after they came to life
So I looked up the scientist
Who lives inside my skull
He fueled it with my vision
And running through the darkness
I saw a nauseous glow
I had a premonition

And oh, what a pleasant sight
'Cause there's nothing for me in there
And I left my guitar inside
But strangely I can't seem to care
