I find myself just wasting my time away...
Well, I have taken a HUGE step forward in life.
I begin school April 29. Yup, I'm going back! I start at the University of Phoenix. I'm commence the MAEd/TED for Elementary Education. Basically, it's 18-22 month program in which I will be getting my teaching credential and Masters Degree in Education. Not bad. Granted, not the most prestigious school but, I have my Bachelors degree from UCLA. It's not like I'm going into Law School. I'm going to teach. And it is an accredited University, which is all that matters. And hey, at the end I will have a Masters Degree. So it's what I want, to teach and have my Masters.
I'm excited. I didn't expect to be going back so soon. I went to meet with a counselor and I ended up enrolling. I wanted to start in September but then I thought about it...the only reason I was waiting was because I wanted more time off. If I start the program now, I'll be done by Summer of 2006. Start teaching and I'll have Winter and Spring break off, not to mention Summers. So the sooner I go back, the sooner I will be able to have Summers off! Which will allot more time for traveling and not being stuck in stupid jobs that I'd rather not be at.
In other news...reservations for Rosarito have been made. Yay.
This weekend should be exciting. Tomorrow The World's End opens, which is the new store Kyle is opening, located in the heart of downtown Covina. Everyone go buy something. The Vandals will be playing at the store's official Grand Opening, as will The God Awfuls and the beautiful Lars Frederickson will be making an appearance, date TBD. We're also going out for Claudia's birthday. Saturday is Latino Festival at UCLA. Sunday is for resting...maybe.
