Crazy Drunken Guy
Around 9pm, this random guy just walked into my room (we have the door open to get a cross-breeze). He looked around the room, said "this is nice", and left. My roommate and I proceeded to ask ourselves "WTF just happened?". We decided he was drunk, even though it's a Wednesday of no real significance. A few minutes later, the power went out. I was kinda pissed, since I'd been working on my lab report for Physics .It took me a second to remember that, since I'm using a laptop, the power outage didn't turn it off, it was just in hibernate because it's in a docking station.
I looked outside and saw that the lights were still on in all the other units. I thought that was strange, so I walked out into the hall. A few of the other guys were there, all wondering what had just happened. Each unit has a code-locked door to each hall. They're there to prevent people from one unit wandering into another unwanted (the units are interconnected), and they close when the power goes out to the building. The door wasn't closed. Then we noticed that the door to the circuit breaker box was open. All the switches had been flipped to off. It seems that random drunken guy probably decided it would be funny to shut off power to our hall. That bastard.
And that's my crazy drunk guy story. I'm sure I'll have more soon - I DO live right next to a frat.
