Or so Amanda would have people believe. Apparently Star Trek has taught her that if people have beards, it means they're really an alternate reality version of themselves. She sent Christine Google links.
My classes this semester don't seem like they'll be too hard, with the notable exception of Orgo. The syllabus says:
"We strongly discourage you from trying to enroll in greater than 15 credits and/or overextending yourselves with respect to extracurricular activities. You should not expect to do well in this course if you are over-committed."
Wonderful. And the final is in the evening (6:30-9:30) time slot. Stupid major requirements.
Linear Algebra shouldn't be too bad. I actually have a Professor I can understand during lecture this semester! And this one has a Russian accent! I get the feeling I will continue to be the Tina Chen of my Japanese class this semester, which is fine with me...I might need a ridiculously easy class if Orgo starts eating my soul. As for Microeconomics...I was sitting in class this morning making connections to Game Theory. Yay for taking 400 level Senior Econ classes in Freshman Seminar form!
Even though it's only the third day of class, I'm glad it's Friday. Mostly because my sleep schedule was rudely shifted 5 hours forward overnight by the start of classes on Wednesday. And of my 4 classes (5, if you count drill), only ONE starts after 11 am. So I'm once again getting up between 7 and 7:30 every day. That wouldn't be so bad (it is, afterall, an hour later than I got up all through high school) if people in the hall didn't insist on waiting to do stuff until 10 pm or later. Most of my hall doesn't have class until at least 10, often 11.
And now it's almost time for Japanese.
