Innocence

Was having coffee with a friend the other day when a little kid of about 1 or 2 years old wandered over. S/he was smiling a toothy winsome smile at us and s/he had his/her arms outstretched.  At first we thought the child was curious about our things. After all, my friend had just gone shopping and he'd bought a number of toys. At my friend's suggestion, I took out a couple of the toys for the child play with.  However, the child ignored the toys and s/he seemed like s/he wanted to get near us. It then dawned on me that the child was asking me to carry her/him so I lifted her/him onto my lap and gave her/him a cookie. The father, who spoke "German English",  was trying to call the little kid away and was only a tiny bit embarassed that his child was soliciting strangers.  Children like that are so cute. It's not difficult to see why little kids are prime women magnets. They're very effective icebreakers. I think an effective way to sell to women of a particular demographic would be using little children to get them into a good mood. They'd be very receptive to anything you want to sell them after that. I know I would.
