Last post of '08
It's been a year. Didn't think I'd be where I am right now at this point in the year, but I can't say that I'm unhappy about it In fact, life is pretty sweet right now.
This time last year, I had just started dating Chris. Granted, that relationship ended before it really got off the ground, but I made a great friend, so that wasn't a bust.
Then I had that crazy Christian infatuation insanity in March/April. And while that was emotionally destructive, it was one of those things that had to be done. I learned some valuable lessons about myself and others in the process, and it made me a better person.
Then I started dating Brentyn and my whole WORLD changed. Never thought I'd ever say this, but I love Brentyn Mace more than anything else in the whole damn world. Crazy, considering our hectic past, but he's my bear, and I love him.
And I'm marrying him next year. So this time next year, I'll be Mrs. Mace.
Weird.
I also thought I'd have left the MGC by now, but I'm still here, and it's not all bad. Sure, there are still some times that I want to pull my hair out, but by far and large, I'm happy here. We're hiring someone new next month for Customer Service, so I can focus more on Inventory Management (my promotion!!!)
So yeah, life is good.
