So the Summer is winding down. I enjoyed myself, although I didn't have a very eventful summer. Been working a lot over the past two months. Call centre is not that bad, and its nice to work at the restaraunt - the two cheques together are helping me pay up my bills, live more comfortably and to start adding possessions...not to mention to further consider long term goals.
Pride work is about to begin - I've played hookie most of the summer. There's a few messes to still clean up, but things are looking good for the fall - its going to be a busy season!
Hopefully I can manage some travel to other cities again, like Hamilton, Toronto, Woodstock and London on my anticipated revised schedule. I've been training people at the restaurant for serving, bar and even in the kitchen, so hopefully I can reduce my schedule to just the big events and the events I schedule - making it far more worth my time!
(and I've forgotten about Chai for weeks - more monies for me! I need to buy shoes! I dream about it!)
I'm at Arvato today, working the holiday. I certainly didn't mind not camping during the gloomy and overcast weekend we just went through. I had a great day, just working on pride stuff, playing some video games, reading, and doing some housework - had the house to myself for most of the day. Tried to watch Harry Potter with Aaron, but it was almost 12:30 and we still had 90 minutes to go, so I bailed.
Had a great time Friday night at the Still with Jorge and Co. It was his and Holly's birthday, and we had been drinking since 6pm at Jorge's house, although Holly started somewhat earlier. I managed to avoid going into Ren and stumbled off the bus at home at 12:30 - and crashed. Saturday work wasn't too bad...customers kept interupting my reading time, but it was a good day. Then it was off to Chefs for a slow evening...with a new, kinda cute apprentice cook.
Went home and had a houseguest - we just watched a pretty cool movie called MirrorMask. Some CGI animation made for a very cool movie to watch, especially when accented with one of the best quality weed deliviries we have had in some time - Cotton Candy rocks!
Off to the Still again tonight, and perhaps a visit to a friend of Jorge's, Salima - she recently got a house so it looks like a possible BBQ?
I have fries to eat now. mm, breakfast fries.
