Five Things That Are Ticking Me Off

1. What kind of a hospital does not accept credit cards at any of its dining services' establishments? I had to hike to Whole Foods the other day and pay $14 for lunch, instead of my usual $3.84 cheapie.

2. I should not be allowed to drive during finals. I hate crumple zones. There is now a basket-ball-shaped crater in my right bumper. Usually they have to replace whole bumpers. This is going to be expensive.

3. They are switching another one of my finals and I am ready to cry with frustration; my Jenga-like schedule for the next three weeks is perilously close to collapsing. Plus, the jobby job has not made me an official offer yet, despite saying they would "early this week," further loading this scenario with uncertainty.

4. I am interested to see how expensive boxed Tazo chai tea has to become before I'll stop buying it; apparently $4.49 is not above the limit. Sometimes I wonder if they're testing me.

5. Weddings are, apparently, expensive. Who knew?
