this morning on my ride in i was zipping down Bell Street. if you don't, the lights will make you stop at every intersection. up ahead there was a huge group of pedestrians crossing against the light. following the masses another man decides he will cross against the light as well. at this point i was halfway through the intersection. he starts ( Read more... )

That's not too bad. I yelled at a woman today for sucking it up on the slopes. She was skiing slowly and making those huge, practically horizontal turns that take up the entire run, making it impossible to get by.

Now if she was stranger it would have been fine. Just another dumbshit on the mountain. But, no, she and her husband are good friends of my parents and we were all skiing together. They even did all the driving. I really shouldn't have yelled. (Even though she was being a bit ridiculous.)

I really, really shouldn't have done it twice. :/

you're the ideal cyclist, for all people commuting.

you don't run red lights or stop signs unless it's ridiculously safe,
you keep a good clip when in traffic and a slower pace on trails,
you wear appropriate gear and keep food/sparetubes/tools with you,

and you signal!

it's more than most,
and it makes you best!
