Chapter 5 and 6 will talk to you about my weekends and about fantastic excursions.
Highlights of Malta

It was my first excurtion around Malta. First of all, we went to the Mosta city. The most famous place in the Mosta is Mosta Dome. It is a huge cathedral, but it isn't only big church, Mosta Dome is miracle place also. There are a lot of manufacturing near the Mosta, so during the World War II fascists often bombed the city. Once, bomb was hitting in dome of church, when 3000 people hid there and… nobody damaged! Today prototype of this bomb are showing in the church. After that, we went to the glass manufacture. I saw it at first time and it was starling really.

Dingli Cliffs became our next station. It's a perfect place with wonderful panoram. I was forgeting about everything, when I saw at the infinite sea. It was terrific! The old radar station is situated near the cliffs. It used by English earlier, but now Air Malta is using it. Presidents castle located not so far. Maltese have a good tradition: when president is in this castle, blue flag are lifting. It had bee being Knights of Maltese order castle and tradition, but people still follow it.

After journey across the all island we arrived to Valetta, to seeing movie about Malese history called "The Malta experience". I could have chosen Russian language, but I prefer English. Unfortunally I fell asleep in the middle of the movie, but I remember something. :)

We had lunch in Fishing village in Marsaxlokk. Restaurant owner would have offered us two different types of the fresh fish to taste, but only if two people had made order. It was very delicious fish and cheap enough: only €12.

After lunch we went to the last excurtion place on the South of Malta. If you be in Malta, you will go to Blue Grotto! I cannot find words to explain this place! You can feel same only if you will go there, ride by boat to the caves, stay on the top of mountain and see down. This blue and clear water, this infinite sea, this fresh air - this all will stay in my heart. It was spectacular finish of the excursion! Thanks to our guide Victoria for wonderful trip and interesting stories.

But day wasn't end. After dinner son of my neighbour and I went to the third places match to World Cup Village. There isn't many fans there, but it was excellent, energetic match. Last minutes of match became most intensive: 3:2, Uruguay had a free kick, Forlan and… horizintal bar! Very annoying moment for Uruguay's players, but Paul's prediction always right. :)

Thereupon we were in fiesta. It is a funny show. National orchestra with many people go along the street and sing national songs. Next would be a firework, but people hadn't to go behind the security tape and organizators were very nervous, but shouted only in Maltese, although biggest part of people were tourists. Why they didn't use English? I don't know, but firework was late. Firework also was no ideal, because some installations had destroyed. But another installations were very difficulty made and beautiful. I enjoyed fiesta! I was a fantastic and intensive day, but next day… ;)
