Political activism 3 and job
So, tomorrow I'm going to that anti-ACTA demonstration thing. I even drew a poster. But I think it's kind of lame. It looks sort of like this:
What do you think, guys? Is it not lame to take something like that to a demonstration? Does it express the idea clearly? Idk, somehow it's embarrassing to take it with me, maybe I'll just go without anything XD
Also, I had a bit of an unpleasant moment at work. I just realised today that I have to take Monday off because the internet people are supposed to come here sometime on Monday and I have to be home all day. So I asked whether I could take a day off and got told off by the staff manager - she said it's absolutely not acceptable to ask for a day off at such short notice and why didn't I ask her before if I knew I would have to take a day off. She is so evil XDD
I don't see the problem, it's not like I do anything useful there, most of the time I just sit there and pick my nose, and sometimes there are brief periods of activity. And it's unlikely they will happen on Monday. And anyhow, that manager herself comes and goes as she pleases. But apparently that's only for managers. Anyhow, I managed to get a day off and will be impatiently waiting for my internet!
