Japan Trip 4: What A Blur
Holllllllyyyyyy, it's been a week since my last update and I apologize!
What do I have to say? WAYYYYYY too much lol. I've pretty much gotten used to being in Japan now. I've stopped getting lost in the subways and now don't even need to look at signs, I just know where I'm going. Apparently the mosquitoes here adore me as well. There are none in Tokyo generally, but the second you step into a REAL park you get ASSAULTED. After an overnight event + mosquito bites my leg pretty much blew up to 2x the size. Please enjoying this monstrosity
After recovering and sleeping an entire day I woke up at like 9pm and was like hmmmmm, go out to another event tonight OR be responsible, do my laundry and pack so I won't be fucked in the morning. Considering I was all paraed out (yes it CAN happen to me) I did the smart thing and did not regret it as my morning the next day went by VERY smoothly. So I leave the Jimbocho branch of Sakura Hotel and head out to the Hatagaya Sakura GUESTHOUSE, because this is where I thought we were going to be staying, we being Maggie, Coleman, Justin and Jason who were just arriving in Tokyo. After having a nice local old man help me find my way I get to the guest house and my heart SINKS. The place was SO ghetto sketch as fuck D8 I was really starting to worry but it turns out I was really staying at the hotel and not the guest house. The Hatagaya hotel is even nicer than the Jimbocho one and if ever I need to saty in Tokyo again in the future this will most likely be my preferred place to stay =)
I checked in and went to hang out with Justin, Maggie, Coleman and Heather in Shibuya until Jason arrived. We went to Shibuya 109 (like THE youth fashion department store) and took some purikura before Coleman and I headed back to Hatagaya to meet up with J's.

Coleman and I had some male bonding time (i.e. geeked out over various things) while waiting for Jason to arrive. It was funny because he arrived with his Japanese friend Shouno who picked him up at the airport. Fabulous J's~hime arrives at the front door of the hotel with Shouno behind him dragging all of his luggage 8D After dropping off all of the crap and hearing that the others were at a 5000 yen karaoke place we decided to stay in Hatagaya, get drunk (I love japan and drinking wherever you want!), and explore the neighborhood. It was good times~
The next couple of days has been lots of going around tokyo, hanging out with other fellow gaijin and my most anticipated Para event, SEF! Val, please making sure 4ou sees this pic:
Rena~hime is even MORE beautiful in real life =3 She even introduces herself as Rena~hime (which translates to Princess Rena lololol).
Here is some footage I took during SEF. It was like one giant party in the club and was such a good time.
