2009 Already?
I remember New Year's eve 1999. After the countdown my brother and I went to the hospital parking lot near our house and climbed on top of a giant snowbank to look at the fireworks coming from downtown. It was a warm winter night and there were people cheering in the streets and others in the parking lot as well.
Before you know it we're almost at another decade. Makes one wonder what this one will be called... I mean it's easy to say the 60s or 90s but the 00s? The zeroes? I'll stop with the internal monologue now. =P
New years eve last night was a smashing good time at Vince's formal dress up celebration. Got completely wasted, definitely not a first for this holiday period, yet no hang over whatsoever. I'm quite happy about that =)
Work tomorrow and then the last weekend before school starts back. Please let this semester be stress free and let me stay on top of things.
