Character Information
Full Current Name: Tanwen Ward
Alias: Tan / "Squeak-chirr"
Home Planet/Speces: "Mrrow-purr" / "Chirrrup-nyaah"
Agency Position: Agent 5
Specialty: Transportation
Special Abilities: Shapeshifting, unarmed combat
Age/Birthday: 32 (May 1)
Marital Status: Single
Sexuality: Pansexual (Or as she likes to call it: "Equal-Opportunity Loving.")
Appearance: Tanwen is around 5'8" in human form, with tanned skin, long brown hair, and hazel eyes. She has an athletic figure, due to many years of running around and pushing herself to her limits. Many would more than likely consider her very attractive, but she honestly doesn't care about that. She usually dresses very practically, usually in trousers and a modest top, though she will dress up if the occasion calls for it.
In her true form, Tanwen is roughly 8.5 feet tall, and resembles a bipedal sphynx cat, right down to the lack of visible fur. Her skin is actually covered with a soft down. In this form, her eyes are a greenish-gold color. Like every member of her species, she is slender and delicate-looking, though that is a misleading appearance, as she's about as strong as an athletic human. She tends to get quite chilled in this form, and generally prefers to remain in human form, "Because humans tend to be warmer, and stuff fits better."
Desired Played-by: Angelina Jolie
Personality: Tanwen tends to come across as a bit stand-offish at times. Once someone has earned her trust and respect, she is quite the opposite, and will be the first to back them up in a fight. True to her specie's nature, she can be a bit territorial, and will protect anyone she considers 'hers', even if it's just someone she is friends with. She does have a bit of a short fuse at times, but if the person who set her off is someone she counts as a friend, she is willing to forgive them, if they are sincere in their apologies. She absolutely loathes dishonesty.
5 Positive personality traits: Persistant when she sets out to do something; cares deeply for her friends and will go to any length to ensure their happiness and safety; is generally easy to get along with for the most part; respects authority up to the point that orders clash with her morals; maternal towards her friends at times.
5 Negative personality traits: Can be incredibly stubborn when she thinks she's right; is a bit of a hothead at times; tends to be territorial at times, and will fight to protect anyone she considers 'hers', which includes those she counts as friends; is slow to warm up to those she is not familiar with, and can be quite chilly towards them initially; is a bit of a cynic at times.
Immediate Family: Mother and father (Deceased), younger brother(Whereabouts unknown)
History: Tanwen's people don't really have a word for what they call their homeworld, or themselves, but rather, they identify themselves by their sounds. It was early on in the 51st century that they first encountered humans, and at first, relations were strained, due to a misconception that the "Chirrrup-nyaah" intended to invade and take over the planet, when in reality, they were simply curious about their neighbors and wanted to say "Hello."
Many years after things cleared up and the strain between the races was lessened, there was a family of the beings who emmigrated to Earth. They took on the family name Ward, and their eldest, a female, took on the human name Tanwen. For many years, they were happy. Then, when Tanwen was just reaching maturity, her parents grew very ill, and her younger brother left home to find someone to help them. He never made it back, and their parents soon passed, leaving Tanwen to fend for herself.
Shortly after, she joined the original Agency as a lower ranked Time Agent. Shortly before the collapse, after she had a rather impressive (and loud) argument with a more senior Time Agent, she left. Rumors of one of the "Chirrrup-nyaah" occasionally surfaced in casinos and other stations around her old hunting grounds, but very few of them proved to be true. It seemed Tanwen was destined to fade into the stuff of legends...
That is, until she was approached with an offer she couldn't find a reason to refuse...

First Person: Idiots. The lot of them. I try to do something nice for 'em, and all I get is a "Can you reprogram that console for me? Oh, and would you start a pot of coffee while you're at it?" It's enough to drive someone to homicide. I don't know why I even hitched a ride with these idiots anymore... Perhaps it's because I was lonely... Tch, yeah. Right.
I've lost track of how long it's been since I saw another Time Agent... And aside from a few of them, I really don't care. When the Agency was a unit... Well... It's like we weren't really a team, aside from a few of us who actually seemed to give a damn about the ramifications of time travel and the effects it would have elsewhere...
Sometimes, I find myself wondering what it would be like... If the Agency had been in better hands... Maybe then, things would be better... And maybe then I wouldn't have to deal with the idiots on this ship.
At least there's no Daeleks this time by...
...
I really hate Daeleks.
Third Person: No matter how many times she did it, shapeshifting would ALWAYS feel strange to her. The change from lanky and lean to a more compact, solid form was the least of the odd sensations. More disconcerting was the feeling of being a bit blind and deaf in comparison, and losing the scents that helped her distinguish friend from foe. In exchange, however, there was the feeling of being a LOT warmer than normal, which was a pleasant contrast to how she normally felt.
Perhaps the strangest sensation of all was when her normally down-covered head suddenly sprouted long brown hair. Feeling it grow as though it were a weed on steroids was interesting. Itchy, but interesting.
Then there was the whole matter of clothes. There were so many pieces that were required to be worn, and they had to be worn in a certain order too! Humans really were strange, but darn if they weren't a warm species. It was nice to be warm. Now if only she could figure out why human females were so obsessed with shoes...
