Rhinox: *played poker and won. Has a prize for itty bitty Showtime* *prize is a little winged flower that flits around like a butterfly*
Showtime: *puttering around her garden*
Rhinox: *grins and then clears his throat*
Showtime: *looks up from what she's taking care of currently* Oh! Hey, Rhinox. ^_^
Rhinox: Think you have room for one more? I have something here that won't fit into the roof garden. *is holding a golden candy box that has a rustling sound coming from it*
Showtime: Sure. ^_^ *moves to approach*
Rhinox: Alright. *slowly opens the box and is relieved to see that the rustling was just calm petal movement. Takes the little plant out on his finger and then sets it gently on her head, where it clings with tiny roots*
Showtime: *Curious sound, carefully reaches up to try and gently grab the plant*
flower: *sees fingers. Sits on them*
Rhinox: Careful, don't scare it.
Showtime: *Curious 'wing flutter as she carefully moves her hand*
flower: *little flutter of its own, but says perched on her fingers*
Showtime: *headtilt* What kind of flower is this? *Is intrigued, and already trying to think of what the flower will need to stay healthy*
Rhinox: They just call them flying flowers. Before today I've only heard stories about them, but the guy I won this one off of knows all about them.
Showtime: *blink blink* Who'd you win this off of? *Wants to ask them about how to care for the flower*
Rhinox: Some human with a Newfoundland accent. He says give it mild light, and no direct sun. And mist it a few times a day. It'll lose its flower after awhile and just sit around till it blooms again. Oh, and he says they love sitting on hair. *shrug. That trait won't be much good here*
Showtime: *small nod, and then she's clicking quietly to the flower as she goes to see if she's got a spray bottle that can produce a fine enough mist*
flower: *contented little flitter, but then takes off to fly around her head as she goes. It's decided it likes her*
Rhinox: *grins as he watches*
Showtime: *more clicks, flutters her 'wings a bit as she checks over her gardening supplies*
Rhinox: Anything you need?
Showtime: Have you seen where my spray bottles went? *is looking through her neatly-organized supplies* I could've sworn I had at least one in here....
Rhinox: *reaches up and takes the tiny bottles down from a higher shelf* These?
Showtime: *'Wings up* Yeah! *grin*
Rhinox: *chuckles as he looks at the full size shelves that the tiny femme has filled her room with. All set up with grow lights and hydroponic systems or various shaped containers of earth* This place looks like several jungles all together.
Showtime: *ducks her head a bit, a sheepish grin coming to her face*
Rhinox: *ducks his own head* Are those trees in the middle?
Showtime: *A bit more sheepish* Yeah... They're too tall for the shelves....
Rhinox: *rumbles a chuckle* What kind?
Showtime: Miniature Redwoods.... They only get to be around ten to twenty feet tall at most...
Rhinox: o_0 Ohhh. Why those?
flower: *flit flit flit*
Showtime: I like the smell of them...
Rhinox: *grins, understanding showing in his optics* They do smell good.
Showtime: *Happy 'wing flutter*
Rhinox: *reaches to touch a bare young trunk that's been trained partway up one corner support* ...Wisteria?
Showtime: *Small nod as she carefully fills a spray bottle*
Rhinox: I have a tree that has yellow flowers that look similar.
Showtime: Really?
Rhinox: *nods* But I got it at a bargain sale and I haven't been able to find the name. *frown*
Showtime: Huh....
Rhinox: But then I don't know the proper names to a lot of my plants. *peers toward the sound of running water* Do you have a fountain? Or is that a water garden?
Showtime: Yeah.... *a bit embarrassed, but proud of her garden*
Rhinox: *amused* Yeah to which one?
Showtime: *Ducking her head a bit more* Both...
Rhinox: *rumbles* I haven't got the traditional human water garden. But I have tanks.
Showtime: *blink blink* Tanks?
Rhinox: For aquatic plants. With freshwater clams to filter the water.
Showtime: *blink blink, looks intrigued by the idea*
Rhinox: One of them has small Earth fish called guppies in it. The bright colours make the plants look even better.
Showtime: Huh....
Rhinox: And I think my Cyrillian lotus will bloom pretty soon. *satisfied*
Showtime: *'Wings perk* Oh?
Rhinox: Yup. The buds are changing colour.
Showtime: Ooo, let me know when it blooms?
Rhinox: You remember I said you're welcome to go see the garden any time you want?
Showtime: Yeah, but most of the time, I'm taking care of my garden....
Rhinox: *looks through the shelves* I believe it.
Showtime: *Small smile*
Rhinox: *chuckles* Well. I hope that new one fits in. *watches the little thing flutter around and then turns toward the door*
Showtime: *Small nod as she moves to resume puttering around her garden*
