I'm reliving my love for Let Go. I mean, it meant absolutely nothing to me before I saw Garden State and I just didn't understand the hype that surrounded it. But then when I saw the movie, and that one scene in particular, it sounded so beautiful. Just, wow. Isn't amazing how a song can make a scene or, the other way around, a scene make a song?! Think about it. Sheryl Crow's I Shall Believe wasn't that great until it was used on Roswell. Hide and Seek on The O.C. And one thing that contributed to Cruel Intention's amazingness is The Verve's Bittersweet Symphony. I'm sure you all could come up with a few more. But it's just insane what music can do, generally-speaking.
As you know, I started school today. I pretty much dragged myself out of the house because I really didn't want to go. Fortunately for me, the class (history of journalism) wasn't too bad. I already have an assignment, but I'm feeling pretty positive about it.
