I don't often rec fic, mainly because I don't seem to read it all that much these days. Certain fandoms, yes, but a lot of my old favourites seem to be fall by the wayside. But I came across this wonderful, truly wonderful Dean/Cas fic by misslucyjane - and I just had to rec it.

For six months Dean has thought Castiel was killed by the Leviathan, but a little girl with an artistic bent insists Castiel is alive and can be saved. Dean doesn't know how to save someone without a monster to fight, but Castiel is in need of rescue nonetheless.
