So I finally got around to seeing X-Men First Class. Finally. I've been meaning to go practically every night this week, but I finally made it.
And oh. Now I want to go and watch all the X-Men movies again. Well, I say all, the good ones. Namely 1 and 2. Forget about the monstrosity that was the third movie, and Hugh Jackman in denim and leather is the only redeeming feature of Origins.
But oh, all of the talk about the bromance wasn't kidding. Charles and Erik just about broke my heart. I mean, I always kinda shipped them anyway - it's hard not to, in a way, but I just didn't really want to think about Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen making the beast with two backs, you know? Call me ageist, whatever. But in this movie? Oh hell yes.
