Have you ever noticed how some songs can make you go from cheerful to tears in about six seconds? Some songs, it doesn't matter how good a mood I'm in, they can always bring a lump to my throat and tears to my eyes. Sometimes it's the song itself, sometimes it's something you associate with the song...
These are some of mine. What about you?

Jesus, that song kills me. And Paul McCartney for that matter. I was listening to 'This Woman's Work', and I was near tears, and then iTunes followed it with a live version of 'Here Today' by Paul McCartney, which, you know, is about John and is heartbreaking enough. But in the live version Paul's voice breaks and he gets all choked up when he sings 'what about the night we cried / because there wasn't any reason left to keep it all inside / we never understood a word but you were always there with a smile'. Oh my God. Tears. Everywhere.
