The headline doesn't tell the whole story. This guy bought a paraglider off eBay, and then decided to fly in it, with no instructor, no lessons, no preparation other than watching a few clips on YouTube. And then tethered the thing to his car. How exactly did he think he was going to glide if the damn thing was tied to a solid object?
