I knew Peter wasn't involved! I knew it. Peter could never be so devious and mean. And I love how Neal's immediate instinctive reaction was that Peter could not be involved. If he only he actually listened to his instincts.
And I knew Kate was more suspect than anyone else. Her little shifty-eyes thing when Peter asked if she'd ever loved Neal - has she been playing him all along? Dude. That's cold.
This entire episode is just about Peter and Neal's epic love, isn't it? Neal is so hurt and angry that Peter could betray him; Elizabeth thinks Peter is the best thing to ever happen to Neal; the boys arguing over which one of them should take the air canister; Neal saying he trusts Peter; Neal asking if Peter has his back; Peter saying Neal is the smartest guy he's ever met and he's tired of watching Kate break his heart, saying that Neal is his friend.
Oh my heart. I love this pair. All this, and we're only at the eighth episode?
