No way is Peter dirty. Peter? Come on, no way. Peter's...all squishy and adorable. And he likes Neal! That cute little grin when he stood there watching Neal escape? That is not the cute little grin of a man who is lying and hiding Neal's girlfriend.
And what kind of kidnapper/hostage-taker is he, if Kate can wander around New York and leave cryptic messages and call Neal to give 'him' what 'he' wants but then not tell Neal what it is that 'he' wants? I mean, I fail to see how at any point Kate couldn't have called Neal and said 'Peter's holding me hostage, meet me here and we'll run away'. This is Neal, I'm sure he could have worked something out.
And what, Peter only wears a ring when he's not around Peter? If he wore that all the time Neal would have seen it, and why the hell would you only wear an incriminating ring some of the time?
