...to see The Proposal with
dreximgirl. It's been ages since I've been to see a proper chick-flick rom-com, and it was way better than I was expecting. Seriously, we laughed the whole way through, it was so funny. Sandra Bullock should always make rom-coms. I know she's a great actress, but I do love her in rom-coms. Or movies with Keanu Reeves. That's all she should do.
There was a trailer for The Time Traveler's Wife before the movie. I want to see that so bad. I hope it's good. I really hope it's good. It'll break my heart if it's not. This is a Captain Corelli situation all over again - in uni my friends and I loved that book; we had endless debates over who should play Corelli and Pelagia; we had tickets for the very first showing, and...oh my God, it was awful. Awful awful awful. We were crushed. If The Time Traveler's Wife turns out like that I will cry.
And you know that annoying ad they have for all the movies out this summer mushed into one? I still squee and go 'Captain Pike!' every time they have that 'you can settle for an ordinary life' clip to advertise Star Trek. *facepalms* Still got it bad.
