BBC News: Sink immigrants' boats - Griffin

What? What?

*boggles*

The interviewer, BBC Correspondent Shirin Wheeler, said: "I don't think the EU is in the business of murdering people at sea."

Mr Griffin replied: "I didn't say anyone should be murdered at sea - I say boats should be sunk, they can throw them a life raft and they can go back to Libya. "

I agree that something needs to be done about immigration. I have absolutely no problem with people moving to this country legally - we're lucky enough to be born into a free, prosperous nation and I have no problem with people wanting to share in that, if they are prepared to contribute. Hell, half our own damn citizens don't bloody contribute, and most immigrants work a damn sight harder and are a damn sight more grateful. But this is a small country and there does need to be a limit. But you assess each case on its merits and you don't just turn people away because they're, what, foreign? Dark-skinned? Not white, middle-class, narrow-minded Englishmen with sticks up their butts? You need to look at why they're coming here and what they're running away from. And you most certainly do not sink their fucking boats!

Hateful hateful man. Hateful. I am ashamed he is British. I am ashamed people in my country voted for this despicable excuse for a human being. Hateful man. How about we do a swap, we round up the BNP, dump them on an immigrant boat and sink them, and give the immigrants, I don't know, homes and food and clothing? I'd call that a fair swap, wouldn't you?
