Sure, it wasn't exactly a classic United performance - in fact, it hardly seemed like United at times - but 0-0 away from home at this stage is nothing to sneeze at. I don't know if containment was Fergie's aim all along, but if it was I'd say it worked perfectly. Our back four were superb tonight, Evra particularly. Barcelona may have had the majority of the possession but Van der Saar was hardly troubled all night. And if we can earn a draw away at Barcelona whilst playing well below our normal capabilities we should have no trouble next week at home at Old Trafford.
