I know, I know, it's actually St George's Day, but I really don't see the point in England's patron saint being someone who isn't even English and had absolutely no connection with England other than the fact that the Crusaders thought he was cool. I wonder how they chose those patron saints. Patron of Russia is St Andrew but when he lived there was no Russia. I always thought this is very strange.
