Is 'weevil-hunting with Ianto' a euphemism for something?
I do love Rhys. He's so wonderful. Can we swap him with Gwen? Just boot her out back to the police and keep Rhys? Or PC Andy? Either of them would be better than Bleeding-Heart Gwen Cooper.
If there were this many missing people in Cardiff, wouldn't the police have noticed a little sooner?

Half-naked Jack and Ianto! Nervous giggling and smirking! Panting and breathlessness! Jack standing there with his trousers undone! Ianto buckling his back up! Naked hide-and-seek! *swoons* I may have to watch that scene again. And again. And again. And once more for luck.
But if that's all the Ianto we get this week I'll be really pissed. I accept that some episodes will be Gwen episodes and others will be Owen or Ianto or Tosh, but we just had a Gwen episode and now another bloody one. And if last week's counts as a Ianto episode, well that's just shite. Because Ianto's lines could just as easily have been given to Tosh or Owen - there was very little Ianto in there.
Have you ever noticed how Gwen says 'I'm sorry', as though that makes it okay when she buggers off and does whatever the hell she wants again? Oh, I really hate her. Hate hate hate. It's not Eve Myles, I think she's great - she's a good actress and she comes across as really lovely in interviews - but I hate Gwen Cooper. She's just incapable of admitting that she's wrong, that someone might know better than her, that Jack sometimes has reasons for things that he doesn't have to explain to his team. She treats Rhys like shit constantly; she whines about wanting Rhys and a normal life, and yet when she has the opportunity for a normal life with Rhys she's either ignoring him, yelling at him or leaving him in the lurch.
And now Jack'll be pissed off at Ianto for helping Gwen. Grrr.
I HATE GWEN COOPER SO GODDAMN MUCH! Just fire her, Jack! What does she bring to the team, honestly?

I want to stab my television. An entire episode with just Gwen and fleeting Ianto appearances is like some kind of nightmare.
What does Gwen think is going to happen? This poor woman is going to be confronted with some forty-odd-year-old and she'll go shrieking 'that's not my son!' and then how's the poor boy going to feel? And her?
Oh look. What did I just say? Wow. Word for word too. How naive are you, Gwen? You think can wave a magic wand and there'll be a happy families reunion?
Oh well done, Gwen. Are you happy now? All you've done is poison the poor woman's memories and take away her hope. All in a day's work for Bleeding Heart Cooper. *stabs*
I'm sorry, I'm getting quite vitriolic here, I know. But I really do loathe her. It's this season. I don't know what the writers are doing, but in the course of ten episodes I've gone from mildly disliking Gwen to really hating her.
And now Jack will be all kind and understanding and forgiving, because it's Gwen, after all. She Who Can Do No Wrong, Even When She's Royally Bollocksing Things Up Because She Won't Bloody Listen.
