Not a meme, or if it is, it's a Tumblr one, not Livejournal. I came across this list of 100 questions on Tumblr and thought it would be a fun way of making myself post more often. Donuts totally count. Breakfast out often includes sweet things but typical breakfast is cereal or toast and yogurt or fruit and cottage cheese around here.

I don't understand the appeal of donuts. They're... sweet and soft and kind of pretty?

We had this tradition growing up where, on weekends, we would get donuts for breakfast as a treat. Always chocolate glazed, nothing in the middle, it was just plain with chocolate coated on top. It would be two each for both me and my sister, and of course as we got older we had the special occasion of getting a dozen donuts on weekends. And it's good to note that I don't like the cakey donut ones, since I find those too dense. I prefer the softer ones. Those are heaven.
