How is it Christmas in five days?
I really don't know where this year has gone. But that's a good thing since it's been such an unmitigated clusterfuck of a year, and the hits just keep on coming.
Berlin, I don't even know what to say. How can you fight hate like this, when people don't need anything more than a simple lorry to create such bloodshed and chaos? And not just the hatred of the man who committed the act - the fact that he was an asylum seeker will only reinforce people's prejudice, people's intolerance and lack of compassion against all refugees...
And right when we need compassion and kindness and leadership, what do we have? Brexit and Trump.
