Well, that was an expensive momentary lapse in concentration...
I dropped my iPhone face down on the pavement this morning and the screen is all smashed to shit. The phone still works fine, but the screen is most definitely a-goner. It's repairable though, yay, but expensive, boo.
I guess I'm going to have an enforced iPhone-detox for the next week or two, whilst I send it off for repair. It might be good for me. 'Experts' are always talking about smartphone addiction, it'll be my chance to switch off for a while. And cling ever more tightly to my Kindle and iPad and PC, because, what, I'm a 21st-century fangirl, are you crazy, there's no way I'm going offline.
I'm going to have to warn people to be patient with me. I miss my phone already and I've not even posted it yet. And it's my period this coming week. I'm gonna be fun!
