I am back!
Yeah, most of you are like, 'did you go somewhere? were you gone?'
I was down in Brighton for three days for a work conference. Which was, as work conferences tend to be, fairly dull. Especially librarian conferences! But Brighton, on the other hand, was lovely. And one good thing about conferences is that there's often quite a lot of downtime or panels you don't want to attend and they tend to finish mid-afternoon too - so I had plenty of time to pootle about Brighton. Wednesday and Thursday the weather was just glorious, so warm and sunny, and it was just heavenly walking along the seafront, ambling along the pier.
I could totally move to Brighton. I'd probably need to take out a second mortgage to afford it, but I could do it. It's a great city, one of those cities that still has its own character and personality. And the shopping is great. Too great probably. I'd need a third mortgage...
I bought two super cute dresses. I just saw them and could not resist. Come on, who could resist a Wonder Woman and DC super-heroines dress?
