Shipping a canon married couple is kinda weird...
So I think Madam Secretary wins my award for favourite new show of the year. Mainly because I'm just in love with Elizabeth and Henry McCord and their adorable marriage.
Seriously, shipping a married couple just seems wrong. It's like, I don't know what to do with myself. I don't have to do anything! It's all just...there. Shipping has always been such an active, well, activity - you know, you seek out the fandom and the fic and the vids and the gifs and all the subtext in order to fill in the blanks. And when it's canon, and not just canon but, you know, marriage - there are no blanks. It's weird.
I like it.
And it's even cuter now that Tim Daly and Tea Leoni are dating in real life too. Dammit, they're just covering all the bases now, even RPF! What's a fangirl to do?
