Dammit, Danno!
After a season or so of slowing drifting away from Hawaii Five-0, this season has really been bringing the Steve/Danny feels. The last episode? Ugh, my heart.
I honestly can't think of another show that has two ostensibly heterosexual alpha-males being so damn affectionate with one another. If it's not drawing hearts in the air, it's actually saying 'I love you'. More than once! And not just in life and death circumstances!
It's just a shame this show is so inconsistent with its characterisations, ridiculous with its plots, way too right-wing and 'rah-rah the military' for my tastes, insistent on shoehorning unnecessary characters into every episode, and sexist and misogynistic way too often.
But, you know, Steve and Danny. I can forgive a lot, you know?
