I'm loving this just a little too much...
It does my heart so much good to see this. I just wish it wasn't a temporary measure. I'd love to see Ryan Giggs managing United on a permanent basis.
Of course, the cynic in me says that this is all a publicity stunt to get the fans back onside of the club hierarchy - who is going to complain about the Class of '92, Fergie's Fledglings? United legends, all of them. What United fan isn't going to love the sight of the dugout on Saturday - with Giggsy and Nicky Butt and Scholesy and Phil Neville in charge?
That's what the cynic in me thinks. The sentimental football fan doesn't give a hoot, however. The atmosphere on Saturday will be amazing. We just need Ole back from Cardiff and Gaz and Becks in there somewhere, and the United Legends line-up will be complete.
