I was reading
this BBC article about political 'tribes' and how the electorate breaks down into various groups: Comfortable Nostalgia, Optimistic Contentment, Calm Persistence, Hard-pressed Anxiety, Long-term Despair and Cosmopolitan Critics.
I actually found this test surprisingly accurate. I came up as a 'Cosmopolitan Critic': "Generally younger, more secular and urban-based, worried about growing inequality & the general direction the country is going in." Which, yes, all true. And apparently I'm most likely to vote Labour or Lib Dem, which again, yes, true. I suppose it's another way of saying young, secular, educated liberal, really, isn't it?
There's a more detailed breakdown
here, and it's quite an interesting read. I think you can definitely tag 'Comfortable Nostalgia' as the Tory Brigade!
