Oh my feelings...

Goosebumps, sobbing, cheering, stirred blood and downcast visage - this is how Shakespeare is meant to feel.

I'll say this for the BBC: there are some things they do better than anyone else around, and Shakespeare is one of them. Dear God, that was amazing. And no, I won't cut for spoilers - the play has been around for 400-odd years, and if there's a statute of limitations on spoilers, this most definitely applies.

Tom Hiddleston is a god among men. I think he was born to play this role. His Harry was just... oh my heart. He broke it into tiny tiny pieces - on his knees before God, mud and blood and tears, and those wide broken eyes...

And my God, played like this, who wouldn't want "a little touch of Harry in the night"?

I'm just sorry this series is over. Dammit, why can't the BBC do the entire Shakespeare oeuvre like they did in the late 70s/early 80s? I would kill for a performance of Richard III like this. Or Julius Caesar. Shakespeare as a Saturday night staple, like all those dreadful soaps or music shows!
