I've never been to a con.
Well, no, that's not true, I went to a Star Trek con once when I was about thirteen, but I wasn't in fandom then, and it didn't quite feel the same.
But I see so many of my flist going to cons and having such a great time, and it makes me so envious. My sadface is that it feels like most of the cons I'd want to attend are in the States, and the ones here in the UK are mostly for shows that I'm not really head over heels for. For me, really, the biggest draw of a con would be to meet up with LJ friends, but the only fandom I'm heavily involved enough to know loads of people is M7.
I'd love an M7 con. Hell, I'd even travel to the States for that. But it's such a small fandom, and the show's been off the air ten-plus years.
Sadface.
