Ah well, two days are better than nothing. It was lovely to have her here at any rate.
We watched S2 of Sherlock - Martin's little faaaace still kills me - and ate prodigious amounts of food (pizza! cupcakes! macaroons!) and gallivanted around in the Peak District, climbed what felt like a mountain up to Peveril Castle, did a drive-by Chatsworth, chilled out for hours in a beer garden, stumbled upon an American diner in Castleton (so kitsch!), stalked a peacock in Tutbury...
