Seriously, once I'm in my new place you'll be moving me out in my coffin. Never again.
Nightmare day. The removals men turned up, not with the lorry we'd been promised, but a van. I seriously did not think we could get everything in. It ended up crammed to the axles and it took forever to get it loaded. Thank God it was a beautiful sunny day, it would have been a nightmare if it was raining, because we had furniture scattered all over the lawn and pavement in front of the building, stuff going in the van, out of the van, rearranged, in and out.
And obviously I live in a third floor flat with no lift, so you can imagine how much they bitched and moaned about that. Never mind the fact that me and my parents spent most of the time going up and down the stairs, not them. Ugh. My calves feel like I climbed Everest yesterday. I didn't eat all day because we just didn't have a moment of down-time.
And then, at the storage place, when we were more or less done, my mother tripped over a pallet loader and broke her ankle. Drama! First time I've ever been in the back of an ambulance. So she spent last night in hospital - turns out she's broken it in three places, so they're going to operate this afternoon to put a pin in, and she'll likely be in for a few more days.
My dad and I finally got home around 11.30pm last night, after having been up at 7am to start shifting boxes - running on a bacon sandwich all day and nothing else. We were going out for dinner to celebrate, but obviously we spent the evening in A&E instead.

What a day. Never ever again.
