The Doctor sweeps the board!...
Okay, I am officially amused by the BBC's Best of 2005 awards.
Why? Well, let's see now. Doctor Who won Best Drama (Spooks was third, yay!). Christopher Eccleston won Best Actor and David Tennant was second (Rupert Penry-Jones was fifth, yay again!). Billie Piper won Best Actress. The Favourite Moment was the Return of the Daleks and the Regeneration was second. The Daleks were best villains and the Emperor Dalek on his own was fifth. Of the top five Most Desirable Stars there was respectively John Barrowman, Christopher Eccleston, David Tennant and Billie Piper first. And the Doctor Who website won Best Website (Spooks was second, yay once more!).
Methinks the British public somewhat love Doctor Who.
