So I haven't played guild wars since mid-May, but this weekend I sunk a few good hours into it. And I earned 2 new titles;

fancy titles. Guildwars, hmm. tempting to try stuff out, but if anything I'd like to try FFXI, that whole complex job systetm looks appealing.

"So" is a causal conjuction between two statements. Starting a conversation/passage with "so" means there's nothing from which to link the conjunction.

"I forgot to go to the bank. So, I have no cash."

I thought when used in such a fashion it was meant to be linking the preceding statement. So it would make sense in how I just used it here. Wouldn't it?

If one person makes a statement and you're infering something from it then yes that is fine. It's when people start a cold statement with it that irks me.

Same here. I was taught more about German grammar in the 3 years I studied it than all my school career.
