to all of the things that have been going on around me:
Our fucking tour van got struck by lightening today.
It was loud bang, white flash, sudden jolt, exploded tire.
I'm glad the tire took the brunt of the impact. I think we're all going to be okay. And the van's electrical systems appear to still be working.
We were all a little tingly. But I'm not sure if that was electrical shock or if it was adrenaline.
At any rate we had to get out of the van in the torrential downpour and lightening bolts everywhere and change a tire. We're still wet. None of us brought more than one pair of shoes.
