My recent life...
has been very difficult.
I'm beyond broke (like, about to get evicted broke), I screwed up a really good thing with a girl I'm in love with, it looks like the restaurant I work in is about to shut down, and then tonight my bicycle got stolen. Worst part is: I don't know how to repair any of the situations. At best I can pick the one thing that I CAN control and work on it. So, I'm going to find a new job. Doing that should quell the financial problems. Curing the financial problems should help me fix up the amazing bike frame I already have that I need to finish repairing.
So, yeah, that's my plan. The things I can't control, I have to leave alone and just hope for the best.
On an upside: I finally cured my mechanical issues that were causing me to not pitch well. I'm throwing much harder and with better mechanics and motion than I was in the past. So, I"m looking forward to making people look stupid when they're at the plate.
Also: next weekend I'll be in Flint, MI and Toronto playing two big festivals. That should be fun. It will be nice to get away from Chicago for a while.
I'll be coming home July 4th-10th. So, all you Arkansas peeps get in touch. I'm going to try to see my family as much as possible. But, I'll probably be in Hot Springs at the lake for a majority of my time. I would LOVE to see each and every one of you. So, come visit me there. We'll go swimming and catch up.
