Spent some quality time with Lappy 586 today. At one point, I was running premiere, photoshop, imageready, audacity, avi2mpeg video tool, winamp, firefox, terraterm, and MS outlook calendar all at the same time. This used 900MB of RAM, but my laptop is a champ ( Read more... )

Spurred on by this discussion, I've uploaded some of the animations and time lapses I did two years ago when I first got my webcam.

They are all compressed using the xvid codec, which you can download here. Also, I used the "avi2mpeg" video tool to compress them, it's available here.
