That six-foot-two short-haired jumping girl? I'm with her.

Ash is as beautiful as ever, and extremely happy to see a familiar face. I am equally happy to be reunited with the other half of Team HugCookie. It feels perfect.

Nama gave me a scarf to help me sleep, and we walked the 3km back to his place in Gaushala in the dark. Dogs and cows serenaded us as we fell asleep, and soon enough it was time for morning coffee on the rooftop.

We took a walk to Bouda, past the Pashupati temple, where some boys wished Ashley "Happy Mother's Day", or something. There was a lot of laughing.

My bags decided to take a side trip to Taipei, but they'll be here today. We'll have time to get matching haircuts, get our trekking permits, and buy bus tickets for tomorrow, when we head for Besi Sahar to start the trek.

Did I mention the hand dryers in the airport bathroom have no covers, just guts, and you turn them on by twisting wires together, with wet hands?

This is great.

nepal, adventures, awesome people
