So, I'm gonna go to Rome for Easter....

Underneath the excitement, Susan died three months ago today.
I've thought I'd "mourn", whatever that looks like today, for six months.
But
at 4 months, I will be arriving in Berlin... yeah, kinda roundabout, but I'll
explain later.
at 5 months, in some shape or other, I'll be back home, from Rome as well
as a quick nostalgia weekend to East Texas
and finally at 6 months we plan to gather what family and friends we can and
put Susan's ashes in the Texas soil.
She and I and us and ours did this same kind of madcap wandering for 47 years,
so if somewhere she's seeing or sensing, she's got to still be enjoying this.
"Sure, we're gonna get your ashes back to Texas, but right after I get back from
Rome, okay?"
If I quote her accurately, she would say about our life together, "It hasn't been without its
trials and troubles, but I'm happy to say it was never dull!"

Well, opened this page intent to write something entirely different
That's the beauty of "live" I guess.  I'll get to talking trip next time.

Oh! It's Ash Wednesday.
Go get some ashes on your face.
It couldn't hurt, and it'll make your Mama happy
