where should I press the space bar. Like, I'm not really sure where one words end and the other starts
You might want to wait until you understand more Japanese, then--but generally, if you can write the Japanese out in Roman letters, the spaces there are where you press the space bar. For example:
Watashi wa Courtney desu = 私はコートニーです。 Korekara (this can be one or two, but it's all in hiragana--kara is a particle just like wa, ga, ni, etc.) o sewa ni narimasu = これからお世話になります。
Common phrases you can usually write all at once without pressing the space bar, and they will convert correctly:
If the kanji you want isn't the first one, keep pressing the space bar and it will drop down a menu displaying other options.
Another hint, if you've typed something and want to keep it in hiragana, don't press the space bar after typing--press enter, and it will leave it as you've typed it ^__^ Like osewaninarimasu-->おせわになります (if I'd pressed space, it would convert, but just pressing enter it stays the same as I input it :D)
Thank you a lot for these explinations, they were really really helpful! ♥ Yup, we've learned a lot of new kanji yesterday, so we were also told that all the particles and gramatical parts are usually in Hiragana. I'll probably stick to Hiragana for now, exept where I'm sure that's the right kanji. Once more, thanks a lot ^__^ Like I said, it's awesome to have such great senapais ^__^
Yup, always~
