Spent two days trying to read The Phantom of the Opera. Oh my god, no wonder that book went out of print a few times; it is impossible. Too bad, it's such a fun concept...I like Erik even better after finding out he is a master architect on top of being an ex-gypsy sideshow singer songwriter murderer extortioner emo-extraordinaire with a trapdoor

Wait, what spoilers? Tell me your thoughts, esp about Brienne (seriously, you're the first person irl i know who is reading this series. it's kind of boggling given its popularity) I'm caught up all the way to ADwD and don't care much if that volume is spoiled.
Also, this is ot to Brienne, but on the westeros forum there was this long discussion about Gregor Clegane's skull that was sent south to Dorne and whose skull it was (the posters were wondering if it was the skull of one of the dwarfs' that people keep bringing to Cersei when she puts a bounty on Tyrion's head). I thought it was an interesting discussion, mostly because I'd assumed that it actually was Gregor's head and that when he makes his appearance as an undead killing machine, he'd be headless. It's been mentioned twice, once specifically linked with Gregor since he killed the dude, about what a weakness the throat is (with the knight he killed, it was b/c of a poorly fastened gorget). Plus Gregor suffers from constant headaches, which Oberyn exploits during their duel, so...it'd be neat if he didn't have a head. idk why I want it to be this way so badly. /pet theory
edit: whoops, spelling.
