Sigh.
That's all I can say regarding how I feel after checking in on the delegate spread for the Republicans...
Who in their right F'ing mind would seriously want Bush redux, aka McCain? Seriously. All he wants to do is continue to lead this country in its downward spiral. He has no plan for fiscal responsibility, even quoting "cutting the deficit like Reagan" (http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/04/10/mccain-ill-cut-deficits-l_n_96011.html). Yet, people are STILL voting for him!? Argh.
To make matters worse, the mainstream media won't even give Paul a quarter of the coverage they are devoting to Hillary, Obama, and McCain, yet according to Google Trends, his internet popularity has always been higher than the other candidates, except for their media coverage spikes. I truly believe that if he was given his fair share of media coverage, he would be receiving a far greater percentage of votes.
Too bad big government is afraid of change that would take away their power. And too bad that that fear is going to cause our society to continue into an economical downward spiral. With McCain you get continued war for 4 or 8 more years, unless he is impeached early. With Obama or Clinton, you get Socialized Health Care that is going to cost billions of dollars to set up and maintain.
I am just incredibly frustrated and sickened by the overall state our country is in.
