TV LIFE 10号 （5/14号） は4月28日（水）に発売になります。 TV LIFE Issue #10 (May 14th issue) will start selling on the 28th of April (Wednesday).
題して「怪物くん“奇跡の29歳”特大号」。 The title is “Kaibutsu-kun’s Miraculous 29-yrs-old Extravagant Report”.
表紙は、嵐の大野君です。 On the cover, it’s none other than Arashi’s Ohno Satoshi.
黄色いシャツに、赤青帽子がとってもまぶしいです。 He’s so eye-catching with the yellow shirt and that red-blue cap.
実は、この表紙＆巻頭グラビア撮影に、僕は行くことができませんでした。 Actually, for the photo shooting of the cover and preface gravure, I wasn’t able to go myself.
怪物くんルックの大野君に会えるとすっごく楽しみにしていたのに、別件と重なってしまい…。 I had always been looking forward to meeting the Ohno-kun in the Kaibutsu-kun look, but I couldn’t meet him at last since I had other important chores…
そこで、僕は、グラビア担当編集Gに3つの言葉を託すことにしました。 So right then, I entrusted it to the person in charge of the gravure editing - G.
それは、3つのキャッチコピー。Which is, to capture these 3 things.
- “奇跡の29歳” “Miraculous 29-yrs-old”
- “かわいすぎるグラビア” “A gravure too cute to ignore”
- “そのかわいさ怪物級”でした。 “That cuteness is of Kaibutsu (Monster)-level”
とにかく、大野くん×怪物くんの魅力と言ったら、そのかわいさをどう引き出せるか。 Well no matter what, if you talk about the charm of Ohno-kun x Kaibutsu-kun, in what way can we do it to project that cuteness?
そのキャッチが合うような写真を撮ってきてくれと。 I told him to take pictures that could catch that cuteness.
撮影翌日、上がってきた写真を見せてもらいました。 The next day after the photo shoot, I was shown the pictures which had been taken.
それを見た感想は…。My feeling after seeing them was… 本当に驚きました。I was really surprised. まさに、まさに、奇跡の29歳！ How could it be, how could it be, it’s a miraculous 29-yrs-old!
日本中の29歳で、このキュートさが出せるのは、大野くん以外いないんじゃないだろうか。 Among the 29-yr-olds in Japan, the one who can show this kind of cuteness, I bet no one else besides Ohno-kun can nail it so well.
そう思わせるバッチリの写真でした。That was a good picture which made me think like that. しかも！But!
見開きページで紹介している大野くんの顔の写真が、すっごく大きい。 The photo of Ohno-kun’s face which was introduced in the centre page, that was really big.
これこそ実物大グラビア…いや、計ってみたら、え、これ、実物大じゃない!? This is what we call the real big gravure… no, if you measure it, eh, this, isn’t it bigger than the real thing!?
な、なんと実物よりも120％大きい大野くんのアップ写真なのでした。 It, it’s a picture about 120% bigger than Ohno-kun’s real face.
ページを見開いたときのこのド迫力。Indeed it’s a page with a strong force which kept my eyes widely open.
書店やコンビニ等で立ち読みをする方は、その迫力に声を出してしまわないよう、周りに誰かいないか確認してから見てほしいと思います。 For those people who read this in bookstores and convenient stores, they might get drowned in this strong force, I would suggest them to make sure no one else is around them before they start reading.
ちなみに、この表紙＆グラビア撮影をしたカメラマンは、いつもHさんでした。 By the way, the cameraman in change of the cover and gravure, it has always been H-san.
今回、Hさんは、“奇跡の29歳”という言葉がツボにはまったのか、撮影中、大野くんに向かって「奇跡の29歳！」を大連発したようです。 This time, H-san, seems like he thought “Miraculous 29-yrs-old” was a key point word, during the photoshoot, seems like he kept shouting “Miraculous 29-yrs-old!!” to Ohno-kun.
それには、若干、大野くんも引いていたとか（…Hさん、ドンマイ）。 And, for a while, Ohno-kun was also distracted (…H-san, don’t mind)
でも、でも、最高の笑顔を引き出すことにかけては日本一（当編集部調べ）のHさん、今回もスマイル満載のグラビアを撮てくれました！ But, but, H-san who is the #1 in Japan at bringing out the best of smiles (according to the survey in this editorial department), he did it again this time and took a whole lot of gravures with plenty of wonderful smiles!
えっと、あと担当編集Gから聞いた裏話があったのですが、長くなるので、それはまた後日紹介します。 Umm, there is another inside story which I heard from the editor G, but since it will make this very long, I shall talk about it next time.
大野くんも若干引いたという（…スイマセン）奇跡の29歳・怪物級グラビアは、4月28日（水）発売のTV LIFE 10号（5/14号）にて！ Well this thing which caused even Ohno-kun to be distracted (…please pardon me) Miraculous 29-yrs-old Monster-level gravure, it’s an issue of TV LIFE #10 (May 14th issue) which will be sold on the 28th of April (Wednesday)!
